A Justice Navigator assists a client with maintaining compliance with the criminal legal system by providing reminders, referrals, guidance, and advocacy. This allows individuals to emerge successfully on the other side of their involvement with the judicial process.

A Case Manager works with clients to become self-sufficient and stable by connecting them to vital resources and services. They work closely with the individual’s Justice Navigator and connected service partners to ensure that a client’s needs are met while also empowering a client to build upon their strengths and assets.

Individuals charged with a criminal misdemeanor in Oklahoma County may plea into the Misdemeanor Diversion Program in lieu of traditional prosecution. Participants who successfully engage with their case manager on an individualized service plan for 90 days graduate without court fines or costs.

Diversion Hub works with the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office and Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office to give individuals a second chance to attend court dates after they fail to appear. Our team helps the client avoid a failure to appear warrant by overcoming barriers that impact their ability to maintain court compliance.

Some individuals struggle to meet the terms of their probation, putting them at risk of receiving a warrant for their arrest. Instead, the District Attorney’s Office provides a list of these at-risk individuals to our team. Diversion Hub works to contact them and help them overcome barriers to stabilizing resources and services while advocating for them in court.

The DIRECT program surveys individuals in the OK County Detention Center who may qualify for pre-trial bond assistance or alternatives to incarceration. The team coordinates releases to Diversion Hub and bolsters early identification of diversion program candidates, reducing the jail population and the length of jail stays.

The OK County Treatment Courts are evidence-based alternatives to incarceration for individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Diversion Hub provides case management and Peer Recovery Support Services for participants in collaboration with court personnel, treatment providers, and probation officers. Our team is present in court and helps participants meet program requirements at every stage.

The District Attorney’s Office may approve individuals with mental health disorders for participation in the Court-Ordered Outpatient Program. Participants have their criminal case dismissed in exchange for 12 months of engagement in mental health treatment. Diversion Hub’s CO-OP Recovery Navigators help individuals to meet program requirements, overcome barriers, and communicate with court personnel.
