Building A Permanent Home For Diversion Hub

Oklahoma County Diversion Hub will break ground on a new, permanent facility in early 2024. The project is funded by $13 million from MAPS 4, and a contribution of land from the Arnall Family foundation, valued at $2 million. The building will span over 30,000 feet, tripling the current facility, located near Robinson and 10th Street in Midtown. The new location will be along Linwood Boulevard, between Ellison and Klein.

The building will offer more space for staff and partner agencies, public training rooms, a kitchen, consultation and meeting rooms, a client computer lab, a mental health facility, and alternative courts that will have separate entries for after-hours appointments. The goal of the new space is to provide a flexible space for a growing mission and expanding partnerships.

Transportation for clients is a priority. The new location is placed close to multiple bus stops, and plans to connect the area to Oklahoma City’s expanding bike lane network.
